Barry Manilow heads my lists of concerts I’m not going to attend, and while I love some of his songs I’m not going to sit through a concert of Bob Dylan singing in that nasal monotone of his. Other concerts I’m not going to be attending include those of KISS, Maroon 5,
K.C. and the Sunshine Band don’t just play the same three chords over and over again, they sing the same three or four words over and over and over again.
Mumford & Sons is the #5 on the Hated Band Index and the #17 most overrated artists according to Ranker.
These are artists sometimes called “overrated” for whom I do NOT agree: AC/DC, Aerosmith, Gary Barlow, Bon Jovi, Kurt Cobain, Celine Dion (I’m not crazy about all her songs but what an amazing voice!), Doors, Eminem, Jackie Evancho, Guns N' Roses, Journey, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Outkast, Steve Perry, Pink aka P!nk, Elvis Presley (in his better songs like “That’s All Right,” “Peace in the Valley,” “American Trilogy” and his amazing covers of “Blue Moon” and “Fever”), Prince, Queen, Rolling Stones, Axl Rose, U2, Neil Young
Coldplay has had good songs like “Fix You,” “Viva La Vida,” “Clocks” and “Yellow” but they do seem overrated overall. Coldplay is #11 on the Hated Band Index and the #12 worst band according to Ultimate Guitar.

My favorite rap acts include Tupac Shakur, Arrested Development, Public Enemy, Eminem, Nas and Outkast.
